버마의 랑군 시 외곽에서 18 일 한 개의 폭탄이 폭발하고, 두번째 폭탄은 발견된 후 제거됐다고 한 버마 정부 관계자가 밝혔습니다.
익명을 요구한 이 관계자는 랑군 외곽에 위치한 한 운동 경기장에서 발생한 이번 폭탄 폭발로 인한 사망자는 없다고 말했습니다.
버마 군부가 민주화 운동을 강경탄압한 지 1주년을 맞는 지난 9월 25일 랑군 시에는 폭탄이 폭발해 6명 이상이 부상했었습니다.
버마 당국은 당시 소형 폭탄이 지난 해 불교 수도승들이 대거 참여했던 시위의 중심지가 됐던 랑군 시청 외곽에서 폭팔했다고 말했습니다.
유엔은 지난해 버마 군부의 민주화 시위 강경진압으로 31명 이상이 사망하고 수천명이 구금됐다고 밝혔습니다.

A Burmese official says a bomb
exploded on the outskirts of the country's main city of Rangoon Saturday, and a
second bomb was found and defused.
The (anonymous) official said there were no casualties in the blast near
a sports field in a Rangoon suburb.
At least six people were wounded in a bomb blast in Rangoon on September 25th,
the one-year anniversary of the ruling military's violent crackdown on
pro-democracy demonstrators.
Authorities said at the time that a small bomb detonated outside Rangoon's City
Hall, the focal point of last year's huge protests led by Buddhist monks.
The United Nations says at least 31 people were killed and thousands more
detained as a result of the crackdown.
