Obama and Clinton are trying to rally support from voters in Tuesday's primary election in Pennsylvania. The eastern state is holding the first major contest in the U.S. presidential campaign in more than a month.
Obama traveled by train Saturday on a whistle-stop campaign (a traditional form of American political campaigning - brief stops at a series of small towns). At stops along the route, he disparaged Clinton's political style, contending she tries to please everyone by telling voters whatever they want to hear.
Clinton covered the state by car and airplane. She cast herself as a candidate of substance and implied that Obama is unable to back up his stirring speeches with sound policy and clear decisions.
