한편 아메드 수아레 총리는 쿠데타 직후 정부 기능이 유지되고 있다고 발표했습니다. 디아라 카마라 장군은 '미국의 소리 방송'과의 통화에서 쿠데타가 성공한 것으로 생각하지 않는다고 말했습니다.
한편 미국과 유엔은 기니의 민주적인 정권 이양을 촉구했습니다.
