일본에서 아소 타로 총리의 경제 정책에 대한 비난이 계속 늘어나는 가운데 최근 실시된 새로운 여론 조사 결과 아소 총리에 대한 지지율에 크게 떨어진 것으로 나타났습니다.
일본 교토 통신은 7일 아소 총리 내각에 대한 지지율이 지난 달 25.5%를 기록한 이래 15% 포인트 이상 더 떨어졌다고 보도했습니다.
응답자의 절반 이상은 추가 부양을 위한 2차 추가경정예산안 제출을 내년도 통상국회 이후로 미룬 아소 총리의 결정에 대해 잘못이라고 답했습니다.
아소 총리의 집권 자민당 소속 의원들은 국제금융위기 사태를 막기 위한 아소 총리의 능력에 대해 점점 더 많은 비난을 가하고 있습니다.
일부 의원들은 자민당이 내년 9월에 실시될 실시 될 총선에서 패배하지 않을까 우려하고 있습니다.

A new survey in Japan finds public approval for Prime Minister Taro Aso's Cabinet has plunged as criticism grows of his handling of the economy.
The Kyodo news survey published today(Sunday)says the Aso Cabinet's approval rating has dropped more than 15points since last month, to 25-point-five-percent.
More than half of respondents (55-point-seven percent)disagreed with Mr. Aso's decision to delay submitting an extra economic stimulus package to parliament.
Lawmakers from Mr. Aso's ruling Liberal Democratic Party have become increasingly critical of his ability to tackle the fallout of the global financial crisis. Some fear the party may be defeated in a general election that must be held by next September.
The Kyodo survey also says opposition Democratic Party leader Ichiro Ozawa has overtaken Mr. Aso in popular preference for prime minister.
