중국 서남부 윈난 성에서 산사태가 발생해 적어도 20명이 숨지고 42명 가량이 실종됐다고 중국 관영 신화 통신이 보도했습니다.
신화 통신은 2일 오후 윈난 성 추슝시 부근에서 산사태가 발생했다면서 현지 관계관들의 말을 인용해 사망자 수가 아직 확실치 않다고 전했습니다.
산간 지역인 윈난 성에는 최근 몇일 동안 계속 폭우가 쏟아져 내렸으며 관계관들이 산사태가 발생한 원인을 조사 중에 있는 것으로 알려졌습니다.

China's official media say a
mudslide in southwestern Yunnan province today (Sunday)has killed at
least 20 people and left about 42 missing.
The official Xinhua news agency said that a torrent of mud and rocks hit near
Chuxiong city in the afternoon. The agency quoted local officials who said the
number of people killed is still uncertain.
The mountainous Yunnan region has been pounded by heavy rains in recent days.
The report said officials are still investigating the causes of the mudslide.
