중국 당국은 9월 14일 이전에 제조된 전국의 모든 우유와 분유 제품을 회수해 멜라민 검사를 실시할 것을 지시했습니다.
중국의 6개 정부 부처는 공동으로 대응방안을 마련하고 상표에 관계없이 시장에 나와 있는 모든 해당 제품을 수거해 검사할 것을 지시했다고 중국 관영 신화 통신이 보도했습니다.
중국 유제품에 포함된 화학성분 멜라민으로 인해 현재까지 4명의 어린이가 사망하고 수만명이 신장결석을 앓았습니다.
멜라민이 첨가된 중국 유제품은 해외에서도 발견돼 50개 이상 국가들이 중국산 유제품을 회수 혹은 판매금지 조치했습니다. 버마 정부는 중국산 유제품을 검사한 결과 역시 멜라민이 검출됐다며 14일 7개의 중국산 제품을 추가로 회수키로 했다고 밝혔습니다.

China has ordered that all liquid
and powdered milk made before September 14th be taken off store shelves across
the country to be tested for melamine.
The official Xinhua news agency says a joint notice from six government
agencies ordered today (Tuesday)that all products produced before that
date, regardless of brand or batch, must be taken off shelves for testing.
The presence of the chemical melamine in dairy products has been blamed for
killing four children and sickening tens of thousands of others.
Melamine has been detected in Chinese-made products overseas, and more than 50
nations have ordered the recall or prohibition of milk products made in China.
Burmese authorities announced today the removal of seven more products from
store shelves there after testing revealed they contained melamine.
