유엔총회에 참석한 각국 외무장관과 대사들은 29일 유엔총회 마지막 날을 맞아 해결이 시급한 국제문제의 최종 협의 단계를 거치고 있습니다.
27일에는 북한의 박길연 외무성 부상을 비롯해 러시아와 아제르바이잔 외무장관들이 특별 회의를 열었습니다.
올해 유엔총회에서는 세계 금융위기와 기후 변화, 그리고 테러 방지를 위한 국제사회의 협력이 특히 강조됐습니다 또한 중동 평화 정착 방안 역시 본회의와 특별 회의 등에서 주목을 받았습니다.

The United Nations General Assembly is
wrapping up its annual debate in New York with the final 30 speakers, including
officials from Burma, Ecuador, Jordan, South Africa and the Vatican.
Foreign ministers and ambassadors from all over the world will raise pressing
global issues on the final day of the week-long debate today (Monday).
The assembly met for a special session Saturday. Speakers that day included
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Elmar
Mammadyarov, and North Korea's Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, Pak Kil Yon.
Throughout this year's General Assembly, world leaders have called for
international cooperation to address the global financial crisis, climate
change and terrorism.
The Middle East peace process gained special attention throughout the week,
during official debate and in meetings on the sidelines of the Assembly.
