부시 대통령은 아프가니스탄과 코소보, 차드 등, 전세계 위기지역들에서 이탈리아가 국제적 의무사항을 이행한 것을 높이 평가했습니다.
부시 대통령은 또 미국이 이란의 핵 문제를 외교적으로 해결할 것이라는 의지를 재확인하면서도 모든 가능성이 여전히 열려있다고 말했습니다.

U.S. President George Bush and Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi have concluded their talks in Rome on such issues as Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran's nuclear program.
Mr. Bush praised the Italians for meeting their international obligations crisis spots around the world, including in Afghanistan, Kosovo, and Chad.
He also reaffirmed U.S. determination to seek a diplomatic solution to the nuclear standoff with Iran. But he also repeated that the United States feels that all options remain open.
Mr. Bush said he would abide by the U.S. Supreme Court decision announced earlier today (Thursday), ruling that foreign detainees held by the United States at the Guantanamo Bay prison in Cuba have the right to appeal their cases before U.S. courts.
