이 협정은 오는 2010년까지 양국의 무역규모를 400억달러에서 600억달러로 확대해 나가기로 했습니다.
두 나라는 또한 올해 안에 두 차례 합동 군사훈련을 실시하고, 히말라야 국경 분쟁 해결을 위한 노력을 강화하기로 했습니다.
중국의 친강 외교부 대변인은, 양측이 국경분쟁을 끝낼 정치적 의지를 갖고 있다고 말했습니다.
싱 총리는 15일 후진타오 국가주석과 우방궈 전국인민대표대회 상무위원장 등을 예방할 예정입니다.

India and China have pledged increased military and economic ties, signing a broad agreement to take their sometimes strained relations to a new level of cooperation.
Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh held talks today (Monday) with his Chinese counterpart Wen Jiabao in Beijing as part of a landmark push to ease tensions between the two neighbors. Mr. Singh is also expected to meet with Chinese President Hu Jintao and other top officials.
The pact lifts the target for bilateral trade from almost 40 billion dollars last year to 60 billion dollars by 2010. It also commits the two nations to joint military exercises and to a renewed effort to resolve their Himalayan border dispute, over which they went to war in 1962.
Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Qin Gang says both sides have the political will to end the border dispute.
Mr. Singh's visit is the first by an Indian prime minister to China in five years.
