말레이시아와 이란은, 이란의 2개 천연가스전 개발을 위한 계약을 체결했습니다.
이란 국영석유회사는 26일 테헤란에서 말레이시아의 거대재벌 시에드 목타르 알-부크하리 계열의 SKS사 대표들과 계약에 서명했습니다.
양측은 지난 1월에 160억달러 규모의 예비협상을 타결지었습니다.
이 계약에 따라 SKS사는 앞으로 페르샤 만의 남부 골샨 가스전과 페르도우스 가스전을 개발하게 됩니다.
계약기간은 25년입니다.

Malaysia and Iran have signed a multi-billion-dollar deal to develop two offshore Iranian natural gas fields.
The national Iranian Oil Company signed the contract in Tehran today (Wednesday) with representatives of SKS, a company linked to Malaysian tycoon Syed Mokhtar al-Bukhary. The two sides reached a preliminary 16-billion-dollar deal on the project last January.
Under its terms, SKS will develop the southern Golshan and Ferdows gas fields in the Persian Gulf. SKS also will build plants to produce liquefied natural gas.
The contract is expected to take 25 years to complete.
