페루수도 리마에서는 10일 알베르토 후지모리 전 페루 대통령에 대한 재판이 열렸습니다.
후지모리 전 대통령에 대한 재판은, 지난 9월 신병 인도 이후 계속 구속돼온 수도 리마시 외곽의 경찰 기지에서 열렸습니다.
후지 모리 전 대통령은 1990년부터 2000년까지 10년동안 재임중에 자행한 살인과 납치, 부패와 관련된 혐의로 기소됐습니다.
그는 또한 1992년에 저명한 언론인과 기업인 등 그의 주요 비판자 2명의 납치를 교사한 혐의로 기소됐습니다.
유죄 판결을 받을 경우 후지모리 전대통령은 30년 징역형과 3,300만달러의 벌금형에 처해지게 됩니다. 후지모리 전 대통령은 관련 사실을 부인하고 있습니다.

The trial of former Peruvian President Alberto Fujimori has opened in Lima.
Mr. Fujimori is facing charges related to murder, kidnapping and corruption during his decade in power, from 1990 to 2000.
Prosecutors accuse the 69-year-old Mr. Fujimori of authorizing the death squad killings of 25 people in the early 1990s -- (15 people in Lima's Barrios Altos neighborhood in 1991 and 10 people at La Cantuta University in 1992).
He is also accused of authorizing the 1992 kidnappings of two of his critics, a prominent journalist and a businessman. If convicted, he faces up to 30 years in prison and a fine of 33 million dollars. He denies any involvement.
Mr. Fujimori's trial is taking place at the police base on the outskirts of the capital where he has been held since his extradition from Chile in September.
