국제 구호 단체 요원들이 베트남 중부에서 발생한 홍수 피해 지역에 긴급 구호품을 전달하느라 사투를 벌이고 있습니다.
베트남 근해에서 발생한 이번 열대성 폭우로 베트남에서는 최소 43명이 사망했습니다. 하틴 지방에서는 16명이 숨졌으며, 다크락 지방에서는 14명이 사망한 것으로 알려졌습니다. 쿠앙빈 지방과 인접 지역에서도 상당수의 사망자가 발생했습니다.
베트남 당국은 이번 홍수로 수십만명의 이재민이 발생하고 열차 운행 역시 중단됐다고 밝혔습니다.
또 베트남 당국에 따르면 6만5천 헥타르의 농지가 휩쓸려 나갔습니다.

Rescuers are struggling to deliver emergency supplies to flood-ravaged parts of central Vietnam.
The floods caused by an offshore tropical storm have killed at least 43 people.
The hardest-hit areas include the provinces of Ha Tinh, where 16 people have died, and Daklak, with 14 deaths. Other fatalities have been reported in Quang Binh province and surrounding areas.
Authorities say the floods have forced tens of thousands of people from their homes. Train service in the region has also been disrupted.
Officials say the floods have swamped more than 65-thousand hectares of farmland.
