파키스탄 당국은 붉은 사원 인근에서 발생한 자살폭탄 테러로 수십명의 사상자가 발생한 것과 관련해 조사를 벌이고 있습니다.
27일 수도 이슬라마바드에 있는 과격성향의 붉은 사원 인근에서 자살폭탄 테러가 발생해 최소한 13명이 숨지고 50여명이 다쳤습니다.
이날 자살폭탄 테러는 수백명의 회교 학생들이 경찰과 충돌한 직후 붉은 사원 근처에 있는 식당에서 발생했습니다.
학생들은 경찰에 돌을 던지며 저항했고, 경찰은 최루탄으로 대응했습니다.
이번 자살폭탄 테러의 희생자들은 대부분 경찰관이었습니다.
27일 아침 수백명이 붉은 사원을 다시 점거하고 오후 기도회를 이끌도록 정부가 내세웠던 성직자를 몰아냈으며, 이 사원의 전 종교 지도자 압둘 아지즈의 석방을 요구했습니다.
친 탈레반 계열인 압둘 아지즈는 현재 수감중입니다. 파키스탄의 아프탑 쉐르파오 내무장관은 정부는 시위자들이 법을 마음대로 하도록 허용하지 않을 것이라고 말했습니다.
파키스탄 정부는 붉은 사원을 무력진압한 지 2주만인 26일에 다시 사원을 열었습니다.

The blast occurred Friday at a restaurant near the complex, shortly after hundreds of
Islamic students clashed with security forces. The students threw stones at police, who
responded with tear gas.
Most of the victims of the suicide attack were policemen.
Hundreds of people re-occupied the mosque Friday morning. They chased away a cleric chosen by the government to lead afternoon prayers, and demanded the return of the pro-Taleban mosque's former cleric (, Abdul Aziz), who is in police custody.
The interior minister (Aftab Sherpao) said the government will not allow demonstrators
to take the law into their own hands.
The government reopened the mosque Thursday, two weeks after a deadly raid on the compound.
