지난주 중국 북동부 해역에서 침몰한 한국 화물선 수색 작업을 벌이기 위해서, 19일 잠수작업선이 현장에 도착할 예정이라고 중국 관영 통신이 보도했습니다. 침몰한 화물선의 선원은 모두 실종 상태입니다.
한국 선적인 ‘골든로즈’호는 지난 12일 산둥성 옌타이 항 인근에서 중국 컨테이너선과 충돌한 후 침몰했습니다. 당시 해상에는 짙은 안개가 끼어있었습니다.
골든로즈호에는 16명의 선원이 타고 있었으며, 이중 7명이 한국 선원이었습니다. 나머지 선원은 버마와 인도네시아 출신이었습니다.
중국 관영 신화통신은 25명의 잠수부가 현지에 파견됐으며, 3백척의 배와 3대의 항공기도 수색 작업에 참여하고 있다고 보도했습니다.
보도에 따르면 구조대는 현재까지 두 정의 빈 구명보트와 배에 실렸던 화물 일부만을 찾아낸 상태입니다.

China's state-run media say a diving vessel is expected to arrive today (Saturday) off China's northeast coast, where a South Korean cargo ship sank last week and left everyone on board missing.
The South Korean vessel collided with a Chinese-owned container ship last Saturday in foggy conditions near the Chinese port of Yantai in Shandong province.
The South Korean ship, Golden Rose, was carrying 16 sailors, including seven South Koreans. The remaining crew members are from Burma and Indonesia.
China's official Xinhua News Agency says 25 divers are involved in the search for the sailors, and more than 300 Chinese ships and three aircraft have joined the search.
The news agency says rescuers have so far only recovered two empty life rafts and some wreckage from the South Korean ship.
