이라크 내 연합군이 1일 테러용의자 3명을 사살하고 16명을 체포했다고, 미군 당국이 밝혔습니다.
미군에 따르면 연합군은 바그다드 남쪽에 있는 라마디 시 서부에서 이라크 알카에다 조직을 목표로 기습작전을 폈습니다.
이와는 별도로 팔루자에서는 한 경찰의 결혼식 하객이 모인 장소에서 차량폭탄이 터지면서 5명이 숨졌습니다. 바그다드에서도 도로 폭탄 테러로 1 명이 사망했습니다.
미군 당국은 또 지난 26일 이라크 군과의 합동 작전을통해 바그다드 북부 디얄라에서 10명의 반군을 사살하고 5 명을 체포했다고 밝혔습니다.
미군은 이와 함께 50개의 로켓포와 폭탄 제조용 물질, 로켓탄도 발견했습니다. 이와 별도로 26일, 27일 이틀간 바쿠바에서 진행한 기습작전에서도 차량폭탄과 TNT, 폭탄제조물질, 무반동총 등이 발견됐습니다.

The U.S. military says coalition forces have killed three suspected terrorists and detained 16 suspects in operations in Iraq today (Thursday).
The military says the raids targeted al-Qaida in Iraq and occurred west of Ramadi and south of Baghdad.
In other news, a car bomb attack in Fallujah struck a convoy of guests of an Iraqi policeman's wedding, killing at least five people. In the Iraqi capital, a roadside bomb killed one person.
The U.S. military also said today that American and Iraqi troops killed 10 insurgents and detained five suspects Monday in Diyala province, northeast of Baghdad.
The military says items found during the operation include 50 rocket-propelled grenades, bomb-making material, rockets and explosives.
The military says troops in raids Monday and Tuesday in Baquba found a car bomb, TNT, propane tanks and other bomb-making material, as well as a complete mortar system and a recoilless rifle and 150 rounds.
