이라크의 누리 알-말리키 총리가 전면 내각 개편을 촉구하고 나섰습니다.
알-말리키 총리는 성명을 통해 , 이라크의 현상황이 내각 개편을 필요로 한다면서 이같이 촉구했으나 자신이 원하는 내각 개편에 관해선 어떠한 구체적인 언급도 하지 않았습니다.
한편, 이라크 수도 바그다드 시내 이라크 경찰관 모집소에서 자살폭탄 공격이 벌어져 35명이 사망하고 60여명이 부상했습니다. 희생자 대부분이 경찰에 지원하기 위해 대기중이던 젊은이들이었습니다.
한편 남부 지역에서는 바스라 시에서 영국군의 정찰선이 공격을 받아 영국군 병사 네명이 사망했습니다. 영국 관리들은 다른 세명은 중상을 당했다고 말했습니다.

Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has called for a complete reshuffling of his cabinet.
In a statement, the prime minister said the current situation in Iraq calls for changes in the cabinet. He did not give any details of the changes he wants to make.
In violence today (Sunday), a suicide bomb attack killed at least 35 people and wounded about 60 at a police recruitment center in Baghdad. Most of those killed were young men waiting to join the force.
In southern Iraq, four British troops were killed when their patrol boat was attacked in the city of Basra.
