Iran says it has test-fired a long-range, radar-evading missile in the Persian Gulf as part of a military exercise that began more than a week ago.
Navy commander General Sajjad Kouchaki told state-run television today (Sunday) the missile was fired from a submarine and successfully hit its target on the surface.
The military exercises in Iran began August 19th. The Islamic Republic held other war games earlier this year.
