한국은 미국의 일부 육류처리 시설의 문제점을 이유로 미국산 쇠고기 수입 재개를 연기한다고 밝혔습니다. 한국 농림부는 미국의 일부 육류 처리시설들이 한국이 요구한 기준에 부응하지 않아 최소한 다음달 7월까지 수입금지 조치가 지속될 것이라고 7일 밝혔습니다.
앞서 한국 정부의 미국산 쇠고기 수입은 6월중에 재개될 것으로 예상되었었습니다.

South Korea says it is delaying the resumption of U.S. beef imports due to problems with some American meat processing facilities.
The Ministry of Agriculture said today (Wednesday) that the ban will be maintained until at least July because some of the U.S. facilities failed to meet standards required by South Korea.
Seoul was previously expected to resume U.S. beef imports this month.
