러시아는 이란의 핵 문제를 해결하기 위해 무력을 사용하는 방안을 지지하지 않을 것이라고 세르게이 라브로프 러시아 외무장관이 말했습니다.
라브로프 장관은 모스크바에서의 연설에서 이란 핵 문제를 둘러싼 현재의 교착상태를 해결하기 위해 무력을 사용하는 것은 극히 비생산적인 일이 될 것이라며 이같이 말했습니다.
라브로프 장관의 발언은 유엔 안보리 5개 상임이사국과 독일 외무장관들이 독일의 베를린에서 만나 이란 핵 문제를 논의하기에 앞서 나온 것입니다. 외무장관들은 이번 회담에서 이란이 우라늄 농축 계획을 포기하지 않고 있는 데 대처하기 위한 전략을 포함한 안보리 성명초안을 논의할 예정입니다.

Russia's foreign minister says his government will not support the use of force to resolve Iran's nuclear standoff with the West.
Speaking today (Wednesday) in Moscow, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said any attempt at forceful action to resolve the standoff would be, in his words, "extremely counter-productive."
Lavrov spoke ahead of a meeting Thursday in Berlin with top diplomats from Germany and with Russia's partners on the United Nations Security Council - the United States, Britain, China and France. The envoys are seeking to agree on a draft statement setting a strategy for dealing with Iran's refusal to stop enriching uranium.
