중국 보안 관리들은 중국 내 공공질서 위반 행위에 대한 규정을 기존보다 세 배 이상 늘린 새로운 법이 오늘 1일부터 발효된다고 밝혔습니다.
새로 발효되는 ‘공공질서 위반처벌법’은 238가지 위반 행위에 대한 처벌 내용을 규정하고 있다고 중국 관영통신은 보도했습니다. 과거 이 같은 법에 해당되는 위반행위는 73가지에 불과했었습니다.
이 법은 중국인과 외국인 모두에게 적용됩니다.

Chinese security officials say a new law goes into effect today (Wednesday) that more than triples the number of public order offenses in the country.
State-owned media report that the new law (Law on Penalties for Offenses against Public Order) provides guidelines on how to punish violators of 238 different offenses. The previous law listed only 73 offenses.
The law applies to both Chinese citizens and foreigners.
