레이테 섬 귄사우곤 마을에서 구조대원들은 지난 17일 산사태로 매몰된 한 학교를 찾기 위한 작업에 집중했습니다.
이번 산사태와 관련해 천 여 명이 목숨을 잃지 않았나 우려되고 있으나 지금까지 채 100구도 되지 않은 시신 만 수습됐습니다. 지난 17일 이후 발견된 생존자는 한 명도 없습니다.

Emergency workers in the Philippines say sensing equipment has failed to pick up any any noise beneath the surface of a mud-buried village, and the prospects of finding survivors from a massive landslide are fading.
Rescue workers in the village of Guinsaugon on Leyte island are concentrating today (Tuesday) on reaching a school buried by Friday's landslide. Sensing equipment picked up sounds at the site on Monday, but officials said they were unsure whether the noises were made by people.
Sounds have not been heard since Monday.
More than one thousand people are feared dead. Fewer than 100 bodies have been recovered so far. No survivors have been found since Friday.
