중국 동부 푸잔성에서 치명적인 H5N1 조류독감 인체 감염 환자가 발생했다고 중국 당국이 밝혔습니다. 중국 위생부는 이 환자가 26세된 여성이라고 밝히고 지난달부터 고열과 폐렴 증세를 앓아왔다고 말했습니다.
중국 위생부는 이 환자가 현재 한 지역 병원에서 치료를 받고 있다며 비교적 안정된 상태를 보이고 있다고 덧붙였습니다.
지난 2003년이후 조류독감으로 전세계에서 적어도88명 이상이 숨졌으며 사망자는 대부분 아시아에서 발생했습니다.
중국에서는 총 7명이 조류독감에 감염돼 사망했습니다.

Chinese officials are reporting a human case of the deadly H5N1 bird flu in eastern Fujian province.
China's Health Ministry says the patient is a 26-year-old woman who developed fever and pneumonia last month.
The Health Ministry says she is now being treated in a local hospital and is in stable condition. Health officials say they will continue to monitor the case.
Bird flu has killed more than 86 people since 2003, most of them in Asia. China has recorded seven deaths from the disease.
