이란은 교착상태에 빠진 핵 문제를 논의하기 위해 30일 영국과 프랑스, 독일 세 나라에 회담을 제안했습니다.
이란은 미국과 유럽연합이 자신들의 핵 문제를 유엔 안전보장이사회에 회부해 제재를 가하는 문제를 논의하기 위해 영국 런던에서 만나는 것과 때를 같이 해 벨기에의 브뤼셀에서 만날 것을 요청했습니다.
한편 이란은 핵 계획을 둘러싼 분규는 협상을 통해서만 해결할 수 있다고 말했습니다. 하미드 레자 아세피 이란 외무부 대변인은 서방국들은 이란에 대한 조처를 서둘지 말아야 한다면서 안보리 회부로 해결할 수 있는 것은 아무 것도 없다고 강조했습니다.

Iran has asked to meet British, French and German negotiators Monday to discuss the stand-off over its nuclear program.
Iran requested the talks in Brussels for the same day representatives from those countries plus the United States and European Union meet in London to discuss whether to refer Iran to the U.N. Security Council for possible sanctions.
Iran says the only solution to the dispute over its nuclear program is negotiations. Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid Reza Asefi cautioned the West Sunday against acting in haste against Iran, saying a referral to the Security Council would solve nothing.
