일본 수도 도쿄에 5년만의 폭설이 내려 부상자가 속출하고 교통이 마비되고 있습니다.
올 겨울 첫눈인 이번 폭설로 21일 정오까지 6센티미터의 적설량을 기록했고 인근 요코하마에는 8킬로미터의 눈이 내렸습니다.
이번 폭설로 항공편이 취소되고 고속전철의 운행도 지연됐으며 도쿄의 국제 공항 주요 관문인 나리타 공항의 활주로 두개가 제설작업으로 인해 한 시간 가량 폐쇄되기도 했습니다. 또 여러명이 눈에 미끌어져 부상했습니다.

The heaviest snowfall in five years has blanketed Japan's capital of Tokyo, causing injuries and disrupting transportation.
In its first snowfall of the winter, downtown Tokyo had six centimeters of snow by afternoon today (Saturday), while neighboring Yokohama was blanketed by eight centimeters.
The weather forced flight cancellations and bullet train delays.
The snowfall forced Narita airport, Tokyo's main international gateway, to close one of its two runways for about an hour for snow removal.
Several people suffered injuries after slipping on the wet snow.
