Indian and Pakistani officials say Kashmir and alleged cross-border terrorism are expected to dominate the third round of talks between the two nuclear-armed rivals.
The two days of talks will start Tuesday in India's capital, New Delhi.
The two sides plan to review the progress of ongoing peace initiatives and confidence-building measures.
Pakistani officials say their side will be led by Foreign Secretary Riaz Mohammed Khan. Indian authorities say Foreign Secretary Shyam Saran will head their delegation.
