한국의 황우석 서울대 교수의 줄기세포 연구 조작 의혹사건을 조사 중인 서울대 조사위원회는 다음 주에 최종 조사결과를 발표할 계획이라고 말했습니다.
조사위원회는 오는 10일 황 교수가 환자 맞춤형 줄기세포 제조에 성공했는지 여부와 관련해 남은 의혹에 대한 조사 내용을 밝힐 예정입니다.
위원회는 지난주 1차 보고서에서 황 교수의 주장과는 달리 그가 줄기세포를 제조하지 못했다고 밝혔습니다. 위원회는 이밖에 세계 최초의 개 복제와 실험용 난자 수집 방법 등과 관련한 의혹에 대해서도 조사결과를 발표할 예정입니다.

A panel of investigators says it plans to release its final findings next week on allegations that a South Korean scientist faked breakthroughs in stem cell research.
A nine-member panel from Seoul National University said today (Friday) that it will issue its findings Tuesday on remaining doubts over whether Hwang Woo-suk produced stem cells individually tailored to patients.
Last week, the same panel reported preliminary findings that Mr. Hwang did not produce the stem cells, despite his claims in a landmark research paper.
The panel said it also plans to issue a conclusion on several other issues, including the veracity of Mr. Hwang's claim that he had produced the world's first cloned dog, and how he obtained human eggs used for his stem cell study.
