Computer software giant Microsoft says the European Union's threat of huge daily fines against the company is completely unjustified.
Microsoft says it will contest the EU decision to impose fines on the American company for allegedly violating an antitrust ruling imposed last year. Company officials say they will seek a hearing, but the process could take months to organize.
