North Korean leader Kim Jong-il is reported to have banned public discussion of who may succeed him, and the possibility that one of his sons could take power in the communist state.
South Korea's Yonhap news agency reports today (Sunday) that Mr. Kim has created a task force at the ruling Workers' Party to monitor any talk on the future transfer of power.
Kim Jong-Il has three sons, and the question of who will succeed him has been open to speculation.
The 63-year-old leader succeeded his father, Kim Il Sung, in 1994, creating what could become the world's first communist dynasty.
