방글라데시 당국은 1일 다카 부근에서 일어난 폭탄 폭발로 적어도 2명이 숨지고, 30여명이 부상했다고 밝혔습니다.
다카 주재 [미국의 소리] 기자는 부상자 중에는 3명의 기자들과 7명의 변호사와 여러명의 경찰관들이 들어있다고 말했습니다.
경찰은 이 폭발이 다카 인근 가지푸르 시의 한 법원 부근 경찰 검문소에서 일어났다고 말했습니다. 지난 29일 한 자살폭탄 공격자는 같은 법원에서 6명을 살해했으며, 남부도시 치타콩의 한 법원 부근에서도 폭탄 폭발로 여러명이 사망했습니다.
경찰은 이번 공격이 불법 회교무장단체인 [주마툴 무자헤딘 방글라데시]의 소행인 것으로 보고 있습니다.
한편 방글라데시의 변호사들은 안보 강화와 사법부에 대한 추가테러를 막기 위한 정부의 조치를 촉구하기 위해 1일 하루동안 전국적인 파업을 선언했습니다.

Authorities in Bangladesh say at least two people have been killed and at least 30 others injured in a bomb blast near Dhaka, during a national strike to protest recent suicide attacks.
A reporter for VOA in Dhaka says the injured include three journalists, seven lawyers and several policemen.
Police say the explosion occurred at a police checkpoint near a court in Gazipur town near Dhaka. On Tuesday, a suicide bomber killed six people at the same court, and several people were killed near a court in southern Chittagong city.
Police blamed the attacks on the outlawed Islamic militant group, Jumatul Mujahedin Bangladesh, which wants strict Islamic law to be instituted in the Muslim-majority, but secular, country.
Lawyers called a national strike today (Thursday) to press for greater security and immediate government action to prevent further attacks on the judiciary.
