미국 뉴욕에서 15일 열린 제39회 컨츄리 뮤직상 시상식에서 가수 리 앤 워맥이 올해의 앨범상과 올해의 싱글상 등 2개의 상을 수상했습니다.
호주의 가수 케이쓰 어반은 남자 가수상과 올해의 연예인 상 등 2개를 받았고, 가수 그레첸 윌슨은 여자 가수상을 받았습니다. 그리고 브룩스 앤 던은 13번째로 올해의 2인조 상을 수상했습니다.
올해 컨츄리 뮤직상 시상식은 39년 만에 처음으로 컨츄리 음악의 고향으로 국제적으로 인정받고 있는 테네시 주 내쉬빌을 떠나 뉴욕에서 거행했습니다.

Singer Lee Ann Womack won two of the top prizes at the annual Country Music Association Awards Tuesday night in New York City. Miss Womack won the award for best album of the year (for "There's More Where That Came From"), and single of the year for her song "I May Hate Myself in the Morning."
Australian singer Keith Urban won two CMA Awards -- male vocalist and entertainer of the year -- while up-and-coming singer Gretchen Wilson won for best female vocalist. Also, vocalists Brooks and Dunn won the duo of the year award for the 13th time. The nationally televised show highlighted country music's traditional roots and old-fashioned themes of heartbreak and loneliness.
This was the first time the show had been staged outside of Nashville, Tennessee -- regarded internationally as the home of country music -- in its 39-year history.
