쿵취안 대변인의 이 같은 논평은 아소 다로 신임 일본 외상이 31일 취임기자회견에서 고이즈미 총리의 야스쿠니 신사 참배문제를 대화를 통해 해결할 것을 촉구한 데 대한 반론으로 보입니다.
고이즈미 준이치로 일본 총리는 지난 달 전범들의 위패가 있는 야스쿠니 신사를 참배함으로써 중국과 한국으로부터 거센 항의를 불러일으켰습니다.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry says members of Japan's new cabinet should avoid visits to a controversial Tokyo war shrine.
The comment Tuesday by Chinese spokesman Kong Quan was in response to Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's latest cabinet appointments.
Mr. Koizumi sparked angry protests from China and South Korea last month when he prayed for the fifth time at the Yasukuni Shrine, which honors Japan's war dead, including convicted World War Two war criminals.
Tensions between the two countries have also risen in recent years over a maritime border dispute and China's development of natural gas fields in the East China Sea.
However, Japan's new Trade Minister Toshihiro Nikai said Tuesday he hopes to visit China later this year and use the occasion to address the dispute.
