한편 베트남의 보건 관계자들은 이번 주 중부 베트남에서 사망한 2명이 조류독감 바이러스 증세를 보였다고 말했습니다.

The World Health Organization says it has asked officials in Beijing to investigate a possible human case of bird flu in China.
WHO officials (Friday) said they are pressing the government for more information on a girl from Hunan province who officials say died from pneumonia. That province is the latest region in China where outbreaks in bird flocks have been reported.
China does not have any recorded cases of bird flu infection among humans.
Meanwhile, health officials in Vietnam say two people who died this week in central Vietnam showed symptoms of the bird flu virus.
And in Europe, a European Union ban on importing live birds is now in effect. The ban reflects fears that bird flu could spread via bird pets. An imported parrot died recently of the deadly H5N1 virus in quarantine in Britain.
