한편, 인도령 카슈미르의 회교도 분리주의단체, 히즈불 무하헤딘의 사령관, 압둘 라쉬드 구자르가 1일, 남부 불와마구에서 인도 정부군에 의해 사살됐다고 인도 카슈미르 당국이 말했습니다.
인도 카슈미르 당국자들은 구자르가 1994년 이래 100 여건의 테러 살상에 관련돼왔다고 말하고 있습니다. 인도령 카슈미르에서는 정부군 병력과 회교도 분리주의자들간의 전투가 계속해서 간간히 벌어지고 있습니다.

India's foreign minister arrived in Pakistan today (Sunday) to review progress made in the 21-month peace process.
Natwar Singh told reporters at Islamabad airport that people in both countries overwhelming desire friendly relations. He expressed hope that his visit will provide further impetus to increasing cooperation between the two countries.
Mr. Singh is expected to meet with his Pakistani counterpart, Khursheed Mehmood Kasuri and President Pervez Musharraf during the four-day visit.
The two nuclear-armed neighbors are also expected to sign agreements on advance warning of ballistic missile tests and on a hotline between their coast guards.
Meanwhile Authorities in Indian Kashmir say government troops have killed a senior Islamic militant.
The authorities say Abdul Rashid Gujjar, a commander of the Hizbul Mujahedin separatist group, was shot dead late Saturday in the southern Pulwama district. They say Gujjar had been involved in more than 100 killings since 1994.
