한편, 사미르 수마이다이 유엔 주재 이라크 대사는 미해병대들이 스물한살의 사촌을 사살했다고 비난했습니다. 사미르 수마이다이 대사는 지난 주 알-안바르 주의 서부에 있는 조카의 집을 방문했다가 사촌의 주검을 발견했다고 말했습니다.
수마이다이 대사는 대학생인 사촌이 미 해병대들이 물러간 후에 집안에서 총에 맞은 시체로 발견됐다고 말했습니다. 미 해병대는 현재 이 사건을 조사중입니다.

A suicide bomber targeting Iraq's security forces has killed up to 20 people today (Saturday) in Baghdad.
An Interior Ministry spokesman says most of the victims were Iraqis hoping to join a special police unit. At least 20 people also were wounded in the attack, which occurred outside a police recruiting center in Baghdad's Yarmouk neighborhood.
Attacks in Iraq have targeted government security forces, whom the insurgents accuse of collaborating with U.S. troops.
Separately, Iraq's ambassador to the United Nations has accused U.S. Marines of shooting to death a 21-year-old cousin. Ambassador Samir Sumaidaie said Friday the shooting occurred last week during a search of his cousin's home in western Iraq's al-Anbar province.
The diplomat said the university student was found shot dead inside the home after the Marines left. The U.S. military says it is investigating.
