It basically means that there is still a lot to do to reach one’s goal. ‘Have a long way to go’라는 표현은 뭔가를 이루기 위해 해야 할 게 남았다, 목표까지 아직 갈 길이 멀다, 라는 뜻입니다. 본문에서 Jason이 “To be honest, I have been making progress but I still have a long way to go. 솔직히 웬만큼 돼가고는 있는데 끝내려면 아직도 멀었어.”라고 대답했죠. 이렇게 목표에 도달하려면 아직도 가야 할 길이 멀었다 라고 말할 때 쓸 수 있는 표현이 바로 ‘have a long way to go’입니다. 이제 예를 들어 볼까요?
