South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun has arrived in London at the start of a three-nation European tour.
He received a full-dress ceremonial welcome at Buckingham Palace and met with Britain's Queen Elizabeth today (Wednesday). A state banquet in his honor was scheduled later in the day.
Mr. Roh is to meet Thursday with British Prime Minister Tony Blair to discuss trade and the North Korean nuclear standoff.
From London, he will travel to Poland to meet with President Aleksander Kwasniewski and mark 15 years of normalized relations between the two countries.
The South Korean president will then travel to France, where he is scheduled to meet with President Jacques Chirac.
