앞서, 쿠데타를 일으킨 군인들은 24일부터 통행금지령이 시행된다면서, 매일 저녁 8시부터 아침 6시까지는 통행이 금지된다고 밝혔습니다.
카마라 대위는 2010년에 선거를 치를 것이라고 말했습니다. 카마라는 이어 정부가 외국 용병을 고용하려 했다고 주장했습니다.
이에 대해 아메드 수아레 기니 총리는 카마라의 주장이 거짓이라고 말했습니다.

A military group that says it has seized power in Guinea has appointed a leader, who it plans to install as the country's president.
Officers from the so-called National Council for Democracy and Development (CNDD)say Captain Moussa Dadis Camara has been chosen as head of the coup junta. The officers say Camara will be appointed head of state.
Earlier, the coup leaders announced a curfew that begins today (Wednesday)and will run each night from eight p.m. until six in the morning.
Camara said elections will be held by end of 2010. He also accused the civilian government of trying to bring in foreign mercenaries.
The Associated Press quotes Guinean Prime Minister Ahmed Tidiane Souare as saying that claim is "not true at all."
The prime minister, army chief and speaker of the National Assembly say the civilian government is still in power. They say the coup is only backed by a small number of soldiers and that the government is working to restore order.
