첸 윤린 회장은 자신이 치앙 핀궁 타이완 협상 대표와 만나면 무역, 운송, 식품안전, 우편 서비스 관련 현안들과 지구촌 경제 위기에 대처하기 위한 방안을 논의할 것이라고 말했습니다.
타이완은1949년 내전 기간동안 중국으로부터의 독립을 선언했으며, 두 나라 간에는 지금까지 공식적인 외교관계가 수립돼 있지 않습니다.

China's top negotiator with Taiwan
says he will discuss only economic and not political issues when he visits the
island next week.
Chen Yunlin will lead a 60-member delegation of Chinese bankers and businessmen
on his five-day visit to Taiwan.
He told reporters today (Thursday) that talks with his Taiwanese
counterpart, Chiang Pin-kung, will focus on trade, shipping, food safety,
postal services and ways to cope with the global economic crisis.
In a televised interview (broadcast Wednesday),Taiwan's leader
Ma Ying-jeou said he will meet the delegation in his official capacity as the
island's president.
Taiwan and China split during a civil war in 1949 and Beijing claims the
self-ruled island is part of its own territory.
The two sides do not have formal ties, but communicate with one another through
semi-official agencies.
