시리아의 왈리드 무알렘 외무장관은 런던에서27일 이번 기습작전이 26일 낮에 이루어졌다고 말했습니다.
무알렘장관은 이번 사건이 실수가 아니며 엄연한 결단의 소산이라고말하고 또다른 급습이 반복된다면 시리아는 자국 영토를 사수할 것이라고 경고했습니다.

Syria is accusing the United States
of "terrorist aggression" for a raid Damascus says killed eight
civilians.
The U.S. State and Defense Departments refuse to comment on the incident, but
western media quote unnamed U.S. officials saying U.S. forces conducted the
raid against "foreign fighters" inside Syria.
Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem said in London today (Monday) the
raid happened during daylight Sunday. He said that shows it was not a mistake,
but "blunt determination."
He warned if another raid happens, Syria will defend its territory.
U.S. State Department spokesman Sean McCormack acknowledged today (Monday) Syria
had lodged an official protest over the reported incident.
He refused to discuss the raid itself, but said cross-border infiltration of
militants from Syria remains an issue.
