미국 대사관 대변인은 미국 전함을 통해 러시아 병력이 순찰을 강화하고 있는 흑해 항구 도시, 포티시로 인도주의적 지원품을 전달할 것이라고 밝혔습니다.
앞서 조지 부시 행정부는 25일 러시아가 그루지야와의 정전협정을 어겼다고 비난하며 러시아와 미국과의 관계를 재검토하겠다고 밝혔습니다.
토니 프라토 미 백악관 대변인은 러시아 병력이 여전히 포티시를 포함해 분쟁 지역인 그루지야 영토 내에 있다고 밝혔습니다.

The U.S. Embassy in Georgia says American warships will deliver humanitarian
aid to a Black Sea port city where Russian troops have been mounting patrols.
An embassy spokesman says the aid will be delivered Wednesday to Poti.
On Monday, the Bush administration said it is reviewing the U.S. relationship
with Russia, and accused Moscow it of breaking a cease-fire agreement in
Georgia.
A White House spokesman(Tony Frato) said Russian troops are still in
undisputed Georgian territory, including Poti.
Separately, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has convened a meeting of his
security council to consider parliament's request for him to recognize two
breakaway Georgian regions as independent states.
A Kremlin spokesman gave no details of the meeting, but said it would be held
at Mr. Medvedev's home in the Black Sea resort of Sochi.
