중국은 지난 주 남부 원난성에서 버스 연쇄폭발 사고가 발생한데 따라 버스 시스템에 2만 5천명의 보안요원을 배치할 계획입니다.
베이징 대중교통의 장국광 대표는 오는 1일 부터 보안요원들이 모든 버스 정류장과 버스 안에 배치될 것이라고 중국 관영언론에 31일 밝혔습니다.
장 대표는 보안요원 2만5천명 가운데 1만5천명은 버스 정류장에, 나머지 1만 명은 버스 안에 배치돼 의심스러운 가방이 있으면 검사할 것이라고 말했습니다.
중국 정부는 베이징 올림픽을 앞두고 경찰과 특수병력10 만명 이상을 투입하는 등, 보안을 강화했습니다.

The Chinese capital Beijing plans to deploy 25-thousand security personnel throughout its bus system during the Olympic Games, after last week's deadly bus explosions in China's southern Yunnan province.
The president of Beijing Public Transport, Zhang Guoguang, told state media today (Thursday)that security personnel will be at every bus station and on every bus starting August first.
He said 15,000 security personnel will be posted at stations and the other 10,000 inside buses, checking suspicious luggage.
