터키군 전투기들이 이라크 북부에 위치한 쿠르드 반군 은신처에 폭격을 가했습니다.
터키군은 터키군 전투기들이 터키 국경 인근 자브 지역에 있는 쿠르드 노동자당 거점 13곳을 폭격했다고 발표했습니다.
터키는 올해 들어 터키 내부와 북부 이라크에서 쿠르드 노동자당에 대한 공세를 강화해 왔습니다.
이번주초 쿠르드 노동자당은 지난 8일 터키의 아라라트 산에서 납치했던 3명의 독일 관광객을 석방했습니다.
터키군은 지난주까지 계속됐던 5일 동안의 공격을 통해 33명의 반군을 사살했다고 밝혔습니다.

Turkish warplanes have bombed Kurdish rebel hideouts in northern Iraq.
The Turkish military said today (Thursday) that it targeted 13
facilities belonging to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in the Zap
region, near the Turkish border. The military says it is still trying to
determine if any rebels were killed.
Turkey has stepped up military operations this year against PKK rebels, both
inside Turkey and in northern Iraq.
Earlier this week, the PKK released three German tourists seized during an
expedition to Turkey's Mount Ararat July 8th.
Turkish military officials say a total of 33 PKK fighters were killed during a
five-day offensive that ended last week.
