중국의 관영 신화통신은 중국측 양안관계 특사인 천원린 중국해협회장이 올해 안에 타이완을 방문해달라는 타이완의 해협교류기금 회장의 초청을 수락했다고 보도했습니다.

Taiwan and China held their first day of formal talks today (Thursday), reaching an agreement to opening permanent offices in each other's territory.
In their first formal meeting since 1999, Taiwan negotiators also discussed allowing more Chinese tourists to visit Taiwan, and a proposal to begin regular Saturday and Sunday charter flights between the two sides.
China's official Xinhua news agency says the country's main envoy on cross-Strait affairs (Chen Yunlin) has accepted an invitation from his Taiwanese counterpart to visit the island this year.
The two sides did not discuss bigger political issues or China's threat to use force against the island to prevent it from moving toward formal independence.
But, Taiwan's top envoy (head of the semi-official Straits Exchange Foundation), Chiang Pin-kung says the fact that two sides are meeting at all is significant.
