후쿠다 총리는 올 하반기 이산화탄소 배출 거래를 위한 제도를 시범적으로 도입하겠다고 밝혔습니다.
후쿠다 총리는 또 개발도상국들의 지구 온난화 방지 노력을 돕기 위한 국제 기금에 12억 달러를 출연하겠다고 밝혔습니다.

Japan's prime minister has announced a new goal of cutting greenhouse gas emissions by 60 to 80 percent by 2050, ahead of hosting a summit of industrialized nations next month.
Yasuo Fukuda announced in a speech today (Monday) that he is introducing a trial system for carbon trading to start later this year.
He said he hopes to announce an interim gas-emissions goal next year, setting a target for 2020. He said a reduction of 14 percent from current levels is possible over the next 12 years, matching targets set in Europe.
Mr. Fukuda also said Japan will also contribute 1.2 billion dollars to an international fund to help developing countries fight global warming.
