한국 제주도 서귀포시 마라도 남쪽 65킬로미터 해상에서 136톤급의 저인망어선 102소양호가 높은 파도로 침몰해 선원 3명이 구조되고 10명이 실종됐습니다.
이 어선은 지난 28일 서귀포 시 서귀항을 떠나 마라도 남서쪽 해상에서 조업중이었으며, 침몰 후 선장 류문식 씨등 선원 3명이 인근 선단에 구조되면서 사고 사실이 제주 해양경찰서에 접수됐습니다.
제주 해경은 사고해역에 3천톤급 구난함 등 모두 8척의 구난경비함을 보내 실종자 수색에 나섰으나, 강한 바람과 높은 파도로 수색에 어려움을 겪고 있습니다.
소양호 침몰 원인에 대해서는 즉각 알려지지 않았습니다.

A South Korean fishing trawler sank in rough seas off the country's southern coast Wednesday, leaving 10 crew members missing.
South Korean marine police say the 136-ton vessel (named "102 Soyang") went down about 70 kilometers southwest of Mara island.
Nearby vessels rescued three fishermen, including the captain.
South Korea's coast guard sent eight boats to search for the missing crew members, but officials say strong winds and high waves are hampering the effort.
There was no immediate word on the cause of the sinking.
