A team of U.S. experts has concluded a visit to North Korea for talks on disabling the North's nuclear facilities.
The group's leader, the State Department Korea Desk head Sung Kim, made no comment to reporters on arrival in Beijing to brief Chinese and Russian officials about his team's visit.
A U.S. Embassy official said he left later in the day for Seoul, South Korea, where he will also brief officials.
The official added that Paul Haenle, a China expert with the U.S. National Security Council, will brief Japanese officials in Tokyo.
Kim's team arrived in Pyongyang last week to finalize arrangements on how North Korea's nuclear facilities will be disabled.
U.S. State Department spokesman Tom Casey said a technical team that will carry out the actual dismantling is expected to arrive in Pyongyang in the next three weeks.
