북한의 영변 핵시설을 방문중인 미국, 중국, 러시아 핵기술팀이 북한측에 요청한 모든 것을 다 봤다고, 미 국무부가 밝혔습니다.
션 매코맥 국무부 대변인은 12일, 불능화 기술팀이 영변 원자로를 둘러보았으며, 13일에는 나머지 2개 시설을 살펴볼 것이라고 말했습니다.
미국 대표 7명과 중국, 러시아 전문가 각 1명 등 모두 9명으로 구성된 북핵 기술팀은 12일과13일 영변의 3개 핵시설을 모두 둘러본 뒤, 14일 평양으로 돌아와 북한측과 세부 불능화 방안을 협의할 예정입니다.
이에 앞서 알렉산더 버시바우 주한 미국대사는 한국 YTN텔레비전에서 북한이 모든 핵무기를 폐기하기는 어려울 것이라고 말했습니다. 버시바우 대사는 북한이 핵폐기에 대한 어정쩡한 조치를 취하면서 국제 사회의 도움이나 외교적 위상 향상 등을 기대하는 것은 실수가 될 것이라고 경고했습니다.

The U.S. State Department says a group of U.S., Chinese and Russian experts have been given full access to North Korea's nuclear reactor.A State Department spokesman (Sean McCormack) says the nuclear experts began their tour of the Yongbyon facility today (Wednesday) and plan to see the rest of the plant on Thursday.
The experts are to decide on the best way to disable the nuclear reactor. The group is to meet with North Korean officials on Friday in Pyongyang to discuss the visit.
Earlier Wednesday, the U.S. ambassador to South Korea, Alexander Vershbow, told a South Korean (YTN) news channel it will be difficult for Pyongyang to eliminate all its nuclear weapons.
China, South Korea, Japan, Russia and the United States have offered North Korea fuel aid and political concessions if the reclusive state fully accounts for and seals its nuclear weapons program.
