중국정부는 외국 기업들에 대해 중국 회사를 인수·합병(M&A)할 경우 국가 안전심사를 받도록 하는 반 독점법안을 통과했습니다.
중국전국인민대표대회는 30일 성안된지 13년만에 이 같은 반독점법안을 통과했습니다.
중국의 관영 신화통신은 외국 투자자 회사들이 추진하는 인수,합병이 중국의 국가 경제에 영향를 미치거나, 유명 중국 브랜드의 운영권을 이전할 경우, 또는 중국의 주요 분야를 장악할 경우 당국에 허가를 신청해야한다고 전했습니다.
이법이 통과되기 이전에는 1억달러 이상규모의 합병에 대해서만 중국 당국의 신청을 의무화 했었습니다.

China has passed an anti-monopoly law that requires foreign companies to undergo national security checks before they can merge with or buy a Chinese company.
The National People's Congress passed the law today (Thursday), 13 years after it was drafted. It will go into effect August first, 2008.
The official Xinhua News Agency says foreign investors now have to apply for approval from the Commerce Ministry if their purchase of domestic companies affects national economic security, transfers the operating rights of famous local brands, or takes place in key sectors. It did not identify the key sectors.
Previously, only mergers and acquisitions worth more than 100 million dollars needed approval by the ministry.
