아프가니스탄에서 도로변 폭탄 공격으로 한 민간회사를 위해 일하던 경호원 적어도 6명이 사망했다고 아프간의 한 관계관이 밝혔습니다.
이 공격은 파키스탄과 접경을 이루고 있는 팍티아 지역에서 발생했습니다. 팍티아 주의 아크람 아크팔와크 주지사는 폭탄이 터질 당시 이들 경호원은 차를 타고 가던 중이었다고 전했습니다.
앞서 15일 아프간의 하미드 카르자이 대통령은 한 주지사에 대해 자살 폭탄 공격을 자행할 예정이었다고 밝힌 14살된 파키스탄 소년 한 명을 사면했습니다.
카르자이 대통령은 이 소년과 소년의 아버지가 참석한 한 기념식에서 10대 소년을 자살폭탄공격대원으로 모집한 자들을 비난하면서 이 소년을 용서하고 이슬람의 적들이 소년을 잘못된 길로 인도했다고 말했습니다.

An Afghan official says a roadside bomb has killed at least six security guards who were working for a private company.
The incident occurred in Paktia province, which borders Pakistan. Provincial Governor Akram Akhpalwak says the guards were traveling in a vehicle when the bomb detonated.
Earlier today (Sunday), Afghan President Hamid Karzai pardoned a 14-year-old Pakistani boy who says he was planning a suicide attack against a provincial governor.
In a ceremony with the boy and his father in Kabul, Karzai said he forgives the boy and blames those who recruited the teenager. Karzai said "the enemies of Islam" led the boy astray.
The boy (, who goes by one name of Rafiqullah,) was caught last month wearing a suicide vest on a motorbike in eastern Afghanistan.
