검찰은 오마르 알티미미가 비밀번호를 입력키지 않고는 접근할 수 없는 알-카에다 인터넷에서 폭탄 제조계획 등 테러자료와 나이트클럽과 공항 같은 공격목표들을 내려받은 혐의를 받고 있다고 밝혔습니다.
재판관은 알티미미가 한 테러조직 요원으로 필요할 경우 공격에 나설 준비를 하고 있었다는 사실을 검찰이 입증했다고 말했습니다. 그러나 알티미미가 최근 런던과 글래스고우에서 일어난 폭탄테러 미수사건과 관련이 있다는 용의점은 발견되지 않았습니다.
재판관은 알티미미에게 복역 후 국외추방을 명령했습니다.

A British court has sentenced an immigrant to nine years in prison after his conviction on charges of possessing terrorist training manuals and money laundering.
Prosecutors told a court in Manchester Omar Altimimi had downloaded bomb-making plans, other terrorist materials and lists of potential targets such as nightclubs and airports from a password-protected al-Qaida Internet site.
The judge in the case said the prosecution had proved that Altimimi had been what he called a sleeper for some terrorist organization, to be activated when needed for some operation. But there was no suggestion of any links between him and last week's failed bomb attacks in London and Glasgow
The judge recommended deportation once the defendant completes his sentence.
Prosecutors said Altimimi entered Britain from the Netherlands in 2002.
They added authorities could not determine his true identity or nationality.
